There is no one better. Staff could use some training, responses are slow and everything is "old school", but knowledge trumps everything else, right?
Dr.Clemmons is an excellent physician. He has been the best doctor in my lifetime in treating my gastrointestinal problems. I will always accept his diagnosis and treatment plans.
Dr. Clemmons is an excellent doctor with a great office staff! I could go on and on about the people I know he has helped but I will speak about the two particularly dear to me.
First, diagnosed with stage four cancer by one of America’s finest hospitals, my godmother was told she had months to live and there was nothing that could be done. I called Mrs. Clemmons, who by the way, made me proud as a little black girl to see an African American woman in the newspaper as “best dressed.” Mrs. Clemmons was not only a classy dresser, but she was also very personable. The entire staff is encouraging and professional. I was very sick at home and could not bring my godmother in, but spoke to Mrs. Clemmons over the phone about her and was told to have her come in. Dr. Clemmons called me the next night close to midnight saying that my godmother did indeed have stage four cancer, but that he thought he could help her. He emphasized that she had to follow his instructions to the “tee”. Dr. Clemmons helped her along with the help of another dedicated doctor he referred. That was about 1996. She died almost 2 years ago and lived a good 20 years of life in between.
Secondly, my dear late husband, Aubrey Glenn Starks who saw Dr. Clemmons at my request because I was concerned about his snoring. I had taken Glenn to a couple of other doctors, but he was given a clean bill of health and of course Glenn was good with that because he felt great. But had we listened to Dr. Clemmons and followed his instructions, I believe his underlying heart problem would have been disclosed. Dr. Clemmons advised us to have a couple of tests and against his wishes, we decided to postpone the test (for financial reasons related to the testing facility) for a couple of months. Glenn died of a sudden heart attack within those two months.

Pleasant atmospher,comfortable and clean facility. Everyone was genuinely caring and concerned about my well being. Dr. Clemmons and staff are awesome!
