  First the building itself is located in a beautiful area the outside landscaping is great with sitting areas available to watch to the birds and squirrels play. There are so many interesting exhibits and the employees were very knowledgeable and helpful to explain what we were looking at...loved the ancient Egyptian exhibit. My favorite by far was the large butterfly garden! Hundreds and hundreds of butterflies and the employees there took the time to teach about the Flora and how the butterflies need the trees its fruit and its flowers...the nearest thing was them showing us the the butterfly laying her eggs.

  There’s a beautiful butterfly exhibit and games for children to explore. There is also a 3-D movie of a determined gentleman that follows the monarch butterflies for many many years and is optimistic as to where these butterflies are migrating to.

  The process for becoming a member is so frictionless and the benefits are really awesome. We had the membership once before and we're not disappointed. We had a big group and it was easy to navigate the museum and for a prime Saturday it felt still as though the flow was well done! The staff are so friendly and we had a wonderful time with Mr. Rich guiding us through the Dinosaur exhibit. Truly remarkable experience! Fantastic and recommended for all ages!

  We really enjoy the wide variety of displays. I particularly love the fossils and dinosaurs. The fossils are cleaned so well they are like artworks and there's a working studio where you can see staff cleaning the fossils. I also like the dinosaur display where they put the fossils in action with either a 3d model or picture beside it so you can picture how these creatures lived.

  Since they renovated several years ago, I found their standard exhibitions outstanding. I need an opportunity to go back without kids so that I can enjoy the depth of their exhibitions, and read the notations. In addition, they always do a great job with the special exhibitions. We've enjoyed a number of those over the years.
  We went to the butterfly exhibit this time. It seems like there were more butterflies then usual, and they were very active. Don't know if it was coincidental or they've done things to improve those characteristics.
  Finally, their food service has changed since last time we were here. They have a deli type store. It has Soups and sandwiches and lots of other choices. The fast food Outlet is still there, but it's no longer McDonald's, it's unbranded. Featuring chicken strips, burgers, hot dogs, Fries, drinks and kids meals. The burgers were ordinary but the chicken strips and fries were a cut above. The combo price does not include drink.
