(January 16, 2019, 2:11 am)I've eaten here at least 6 times over the past 8 or so years. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. The coffee is delicious. And they are very generous with their french fry servings. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that asks me for restaurant recommendations.

Updated to add: typically I only go for Greek favorites, but my kiddo tried a hamburger and it was DELICIOUS. It is worth a trip for a burger and some of their fries. Also, we branched out on a cold night and tried the white bean soup and it was delicious as well. Good job, Niko Niko's!
(December 18, 2018, 7:23 pm)I've been eating at Niko's since the early 80's. It started out as a tiny little dive, but the food was always delicious and fresh. The menu has expanded and so has the building and it's parking lot, but the food is still delicious and fresh! I regularly get the gyro sandwich the side potatoes, fries or rice are each excellent! One of the few places that has french fries I care to eat. The gyro plate satisfies my husband. I have enjoyed the fish soup, fried calamari and small gyro and the Greek salad. I often bring gyro meat home by the pound, also. There is usually a long line here, order by phone! Oh I've been to Greece where the food is fresh from the garden and served with pride and care. I believe Niko Niko's continues this tradition. The menu is huge, maybe you can try more items than I have!
(November 28, 2018, 1:18 pm)Always a fave go to spot for Greek fare in Houston. It’s only 4 stars because of parking & lines but the food is absolutely worth 5 stars.
I have tried probably a dozen different items and have not been disappointed. I always get the calamari though. It’s crispy and quite good. Also, for lunch I often get the chicken kebab sandwich for it’s lighter but filling quality. I haven’t had the breakfast yet but will make sure to update when I do.
Service is an order counter with a little device when your food is ready. Usually quite fast & efficient to handle the crowds.
Atmosphere is casual with booths, tables & patio options. Signed photos on the wall from famous patrons are throughout.
If you get a chance, go hang on the patio on a sunny fall day. It’s perfect.
