(October 13, 2015, 9:06 pm)I lost partial hearing back in 2006, a year after my colon cancer surgery. I was directed to a clinic in my area and a hearing aid was ordered and then upgraded. By 2008 my hearing was very bad and I stopped using it altogether. I also became more isolated and withdrawn. Stopped going to trade meetings, church and Lions Club events. I forced myself into retirement. All of that is past. I jump-started my business, rejoined the aforementioned activities and things look up great.
How all this transformation took place I owe to Mr P Parker with Beltone who provided me with the right kind of hearing aid that allows me to live a normal life and understand conversations in a crowd. Their follow up re-learning of words thru. HD display allowed me to regain sensibility on my right ear from 65% to nearly 90% and still counting. They work with you to stay tuned to the world around you.
