Great find after attending a function at the Memorial Drive Methodist Church. We parked in their parking lot and got in through the side entrance. Great walking trails, pretty quiet considering it is off Memorial drive and in the middle of Houston. Neat cabin with a bit of history behind it. We will look into help clean the park as the bayou/creek has a ton of trash in it from the floods and other high water events. Hope to make this a weekly hiking trail.
Hidden wilderness in Spring Branch. Amazed we had not known it was there. Will be going back
Great hidden area in Houston can't believe I found the spot thought I was looking at a park but there is only two trails like this in Houston. There is three in to go inside so pick a good spot and you can enjoy the nature. I definitely will take a date and come here often just to walk the trails
Really nice small park located in a memorial-area neighborhood. But you'd never know it once you're inside the park! Nicely wooded with a couple water crossings and boardwalks. Good spot for birding or a short hike. The bathrooms are surprisingly luxurious!
Great place for a casual nature walk and birdwatching. The park is small and the trails are very manageable. There is a public restroom available when the cabin is open and staffed.
