Dr. Garb is a wonderful doctor. Prior to seeing him my old psychiatrist had me on haldol, Thorazine, and way too much zyprexa!!
When Dr. Garb saw that I was on all of those drugs he was shocked! My family said I was a zombie for years while seeing my old psychiatrist.
Within a matter of days after seeing Dr. Garb I was myself again. (Much to the relief of my family and friends.)
I’ve never been this stable before in my life!! I rarely have mixed episodes of mania and depression. I truly feel Dr. Garb saved my life!
He is compassionate and he truly cares. Plus, I haven’t taken opiates since 2014!! I have recommended him to friends who need help.
I owe my life to Dr. Garb. He truly is a miracle worker.

Very good doctor
I have been seeing Dr. Garb for the past 3 years now. Every time I go there he makes me feel comfortable, and I appreciate the fact that he is very well spoken. He asks questions , and is clear on what my needs are. Medically he has helped me with my medication, and worked with me until I have gotten it to the right place, and it's not easy getting there for some. You have to have patience.
I have so much respect for his honesty, and him over all as a doctor. He is highly intelligent, and I love his approach to treatment, amongst the other recommendations he has made in the past.
Remember a doctor is just part of your mental health treatment. It takes proper, nutrition, sometimes therapy, and getting honest with yourself and the doctor, have realistic expectations, and make sure you listen to what he is saying as well. (Thanks to Donna and the rest of the office staff as well)
As far as someone long term who will send you in the right direction, I would choose Dr. Garb, and I will continue to send people his way. I have Nothing but good things to say about him and his office staff. Thanks for listening. ????
I suffer from bipolar disorder have been a patient of Dr. Garb'sfor 10 years. He was recemmended to me by the HR department at the company where I work. Defore seening Dr. Garb I had been treated by a number of Dr.'s who either ade my condition worse or who did no good at all.
Dr. Garb has made all of the difference in the world. His dianosis was spot on and his treatment recommendations have lead to a very significant improvement in my condition. I have recommended him to many others and hsave even paid the bill for others to see him. I have round him to be very frendly and respectful.
I cannot understand why the previous reviewer had such a different experience and I do hope the person finds someone more to his/her liking.
