  Super friendly guy, he's been in the business with his father for a really long time. Hooked me up with a great discounted mattress, no BS, and got me a deal on water proof protective cover. Loaded everything on top of my car and sent me on my way. Prices are fair and customer service is superb. If you're looking for a straight shooter, give this guy a look.

  A few months back, we needed to purchase a bed frame for our old antique bed. Of the 5 stores I called only Southwest Mattress knew exactly what I needed when I called and YES, they had it in stock! We went to pick it up that night no problems. At the time, we weren't in a position to buy a new mattress with it and guess what - Mike didn't even try to talk us into it. No pressure, nothing. It was GREAT. We were so impressed with his extensive knowledge just on the frame alone... When the time rolled around, we went back to him for our new mattress. He even recognized us when we came back.
  We stopped in at a few Mattress Chain Stores just to have a look-see and I can tell you right off the bat they don't even compare to SW Mattress; oily salesmen, no selection, huge price tags (even with the sales.) Our new Simmons Beautyrest from SW Mattress was 1/3rd of what the Other Stores wanted. They even delivered it within the HOUR - I had just enough time to get home and rip the sheets off the old bed! - and happily took our old mattress away.
  Don't be deceived by the rough exterior or the slightly stuffy interior. Mike's an excellent owner and after so many years in the business, he's a grand master in the mattress industry.
