  I have wanted to take a class for years with the intent on learning how to use my camera. I was only using automatic mode. I have tried online and self-study classes but have not been successful. This class was more than excellent. The instructor, Lana, is just awesome. She instructs in a very comfortable and personal atmosphere. Questions are always welcome anytime during the training sessions. She cares about the students and strives to make sure we are learning what she is teaching. She makes herself available in person at the end of each session and is available by email any other time. She will analyze your photos and provide information back as to how to correct any issues. I cannot say enough positive comments about the training and the instructor – impressive, awe-inspiring, super-excellent. Lana is extremely familiar with a multitude of different cameras and their settings and will help everyone with their camera settings. The sessions are very well organized and taught at a very good pace with tons of great information. It is all information that is extremely important at my beginner level. The “light bulb” goes off when she is able to simplify and explain in a way the amateur will be able to understand and use. I will never use “auto” mode again. She shares a wealth of knowledge from her experience as a photographer that is just invaluable. It’s icing on the cake!
  She hosts excursions for students and past students at a great price to continue a learning environment. I am looking so forward to these excursions as well.
  I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn how to use their camera. I'm very happy I took this class. Wish I had taken this training class years ago.

  I reluctantly signed up for the beginner 4 series classes as I was not comfortable with the drive. Made the drive for Class 1 and it only took :15 minutes into the class to know that this was 150% worth the drive and cost. Lana is not only extremely knowledgeable, she is very adept at the presentation of the material, genuinely enjoys her craft and cares that everyone obtains a clear understanding! This is not a come to class and all instruction is over once you leave scenario. Lana is available to her students from there on out via email and other to discuss your questions as well as to evaluate any photos you send to her. I am very excited to continue learning and to continue this relationship with EverydayPhotoClass as I develop my photography skills. Thank you!

  Excellent class with a very knowledgeable instructor. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. We did a 3 evening class for beginners and learned a lot. I absolutely recommend this class.

  Fantastic teacher. I was a bit hesitant at the beginning but Lana was doing really good job. I didn' t have any knowledge of different priorities and Lana was so good to expain evwrything in detail. I stayed after classes to ask some questions and she was very kind and patient to go over the topics with me. I just wish there was more time to practice but think that attending the workshops would be the best way to apply what we learned. I highly recommend these classes to beginners and thank Lana for being so nice and helpful.
