I went here to register my business. Great customer service, and the lines seemed to move quickly.
I was dreading my visit here after reading nightmare reviews about no parking, 2 hour+ waits, and rude and/or slow employees, so I vowed to get there right when they opened at 8:00, hoping to avoid the first two issues. I pulled into the parking lot at 8:04 a.m. and was dismayed to see the parking lot was already mostly full, but there were still plenty of spaces way in the back. I walked in and wasn't exactly sure where I needed to be, the signage for the longest line just said "registration transactions" and I didn't know if that included my business, and I wandered for a minute or two before an employee pointed me in the right direction. Once in line I counted 21 people ahead of me, but it moved very quickly. When it was my turn, the employee I interacted with wasn't overly friendly but was not at all rude and very efficient. I was out the door by 8:24, so I stood in line maybe only 10 minutes. Go early, make sure you have all your documents, and it's mostly painless.
Was a bit worried after reading all the bad reviews; but my experience was was not bad at all.
Went in for a title transfer, was prepared to have a 2 hr+ wait since two other offices nearby were closed after Harvey. The front desk lady was super helpful; patiently explaining the process involved and checking if I have all the docs needed. Went to stand in the line (lot of people were bringing in their own chairs) for transfers and was out in less than 45 mins.
If having any concerns, its the parking as its very much full and had to chase somebody leaving to find a spot.
