The clerk who works in the front is a kind, caring women. Please respect when she is busy! You do not know what she had to deal with before you came in!

Never been here but as for the customer complaining that it took an hour to get the script...
1st - you walk in with a script or the dr. calls the script to the pharmacy
2nd- you have to wait for them to finish the prescriptions they are currently working on.
3rd- they have to get all of your information, including insurance, health, allergies etc, this has to then be entered -oops they have to answer the phone- into the computer.
4th- they have to read the prescription that was written in the very worst handwriting ever.
5th- they have to call your drs. office because the prescription - there is the phone ringing again - is written to take the medicine 3 times a day and it is only supposed to be taken every 12 hours.
6th - they have to wait for drs. office to call back.
7th- NOW they can actually start on the prescription again. Type it in.- oops the insurance does not cover the medication. the cash price will be $70.00
8th- there is someone with 3 scripts ahead of you now because they were able to read those script, one of the scripts has 150 pills and because of the type of medicine it has to be counted twice.
9th- set the other persons other 2 scripts aside so they can work on yours This with each prescription. Oh. and now you don't want it because of $. Now reverse this all out of the computer and put it on file. This goes on all day. Don't complain about a 1 hour wait for a prescription to be filled. That is about the average time. There is a lot going on behind the counter that you don't understand. It is NOT here is a piece of paper now count out the pills and give them to me.
As a pharmacy technician I can tell you this is the way it goes with each prescription. There may be a few that can be quickly processed but they are few and far between... and oh yeah that baby screaming in line...she has a very painful earache and we ARE working on her script to get her out of here so you don't have to listen to her any longer than necessary.
