  Where to begin. Let me just say how terribly brassy and long my hair was! My previous hairdresser didn’t give my hair a cut when i came in for my appointment. Tim gave my hair a wonderful color and a much needed cut and I’m so happy with the way everything turned out! If you’re looking to start or fix your hair journey, please ask for Tim! He is literally magic! So in love with his work and how well he listened to all my comments and concerns!

  I have long, completely straight, thick hair - and LOTS of it. Elissa worked WONDERS! I am so happy with my style and can't wait to come back!

  Cindy gave me a full set of highlights and a trim a couple of weeks ago. She is such a lovely person and a truly gifted stylist. She listened to what I wanted and delivered gorgeous results - best my hair has ever looked. The salon has a warm, inviting atmosphere and I felt so relaxed and comfortable during my appointment. After my appointment, my boyfriend proposed to me that night - now, I'm not saying it was the highlights, but I definitely think my new 'do pushed him in the right direction!! :-D Thank you Cindy and Shine in the Heights - I will be back again and again!

  Anna was an absolute blast! She was so easy to talk to and did an incredible job with my hair! She explained everything she was going to do and even recommended some things. She is such a pro and is incredibly knowledgeable! I will definitely be coming back to her!

  Ms. Taylor as always does an amazing job on my 12 yr old sons hair. She takes her time to listen to what he wants as well as advise him on how to care for his super curly hair. He knows that he would not get that type of attention anywhere else. We appreciate her patience and most importantly for really caring about him. Thank you Taylor and thanks to everyone at Shine in the Heights!
