Doctor knows his stuff, his calm, and has a lovely staff

Dr. Maher is a very warm, caring and skilled doctor. He spends time listening to you and answers your questions sensitively -- not brash and cold as other GI's do. After seeing multiple Gastroenterologists that were unable to help me, I found Dr. Maher. For the first time my condition is under control. This doctor's staff is top-notch. Tina will work with you endlessly to fight the insurance companies to get you what you need in a timely manner. I really love this place. Thank you for making a difficult part of my life so much easier.

Dr. Maher has helped me to recover from consisitent and debilitating bouts with terrible stomach pain and other associated issues. Although extensive tests did not reveal a problem to pinpoint, he did prescribe medication for my symptoms that initially worked and then after a while didn't. In an effort to eliminate factors, Dr. Maher then suggested I take a very close look at my diet and suggested following the FODMAP protocol. I did as he guided me to do and as a result, I have my life back! By following his direction and exploring a FODMAP diet, I have not been subject to extreme pain and days in bed with days to recover. I love Dr. Maher for pointing me in this healing direction of diet and being open to look at all possibilities. I know he is a gifted surgeon and understands how medicine can be so helpful. However, in my case, it looks like food is and has been the culprit. No surgery or meds needed! He was able to point me in the food direction as an option to explore. In addition, Dr. Maher was very quick to answer my messages to him on his patient portal. Because of his responsiveness to my emails, I felt Dr. Maher was with me every step of the way especially when I was home sick. During office visits he was sharply focused on our conversation and definitely working as a Scientist/Doctor. Now that I am "well" I may never need to see Dr. Maher again. However, I will always remember him as The Good Doctor and will remember his very caring and compentent staff too! If you have gut issues, Dr. Maher and his staff are really there for you. You *will* get better on way or another!

Great staff great dr very helpful. Seems like most of the bad reviews are from idiots.
