My experience with metro while influence my approach to fitness and martial arts for the rest of my life. Being that this is my first experience with martial arts, I am a lifer with muay thai and jiu Jitsu. Great value and awesome environment.

Head Coach Saul and Asst. Coach Rene foster a learning environment in which regular people can develop practical martial art skills for either self defense or competitive sport.
The primary martial arts taught at this gym are Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi). This gym also trains professional and amateur Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) competitors. Classes for both Adults and Children/Teens are available.
Personally this gym ignited my passion for MMA and helped me lose over 100 pounds. I still use/practice many skills and lessons I learned at Metro that apply for both competition and life in general. -

(June 12, 2018, 10:28 am)This is a great gym! Coach Saul and Coach Rene are the best! I’ve been attending the kick boxing classes for about 4 months now and I’ve learned sooooo much. When I started I had never boxed before. They make it fun but also make sure they are teaching you correctly. Coach Saul is going to push you to your limits but it’s all worth it. For $60 a month with unlimited classes this is by far the best gym.

(July 1, 2017, 11:36 pm)I've done private lessons with Coach Saul for three years when I lived in Houston. I don't think any other boxing gym compares to his workout. Trainings are intense, but is very rewarding. He's honest about correcting your mistakes and continues to push his fighters to the best of their ability. I always look forward to a workout when I return to Houston for visits. Don't come here if you're not serious about working out.
