  Everyone in my extremely picky family LOVED their meals. We tried a wide range of things from the menu and everything was tasty and well priced to boot. I was pleased by the staff's customer service as well. 100% would recommend this place to everyone!!!

  This place is awesome. Kudos to the chef who boiled shrimp prepared EXTRA EXTRA spicy.
  I made a special request to be extra generous and add extra spice to their Extra Spicy shrimp option and boy, to my pleasant surprise was I very satisfied.
  I feel as if upon reading my request, the chef truly understood the client, me, and delicately handled the preparation of my order with care and genuine goal to please his guests through the expression of food preparation and presentation.
  It is truly an art and a talent. Food is and always will be the best way to bring people together with love and harmony.
  Thanks a million ya'll over there at Calliope's!

  I only had the gumbo, I'm allergic to shellfish. I went to the place not expecting much but the food was amazing. The gumbo that is. The meat was very fresh, and succulent perfectly seasoned. While, the rice was voice and soft there was no twang of seafood, not even a hint!!!!! Loved it.

  I'm usually hesitant to give places a 5 star rating after only 1 visit, but I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the overall experience here. The customer service was phenomenal! I took a while to order, asked several questions, was indecisive, and even stopped mid order to converse with another guest who approached me at the counter. I had several additional requests and not once did the staff show any type of frustration or lack patience. They made suggestions and EVERYTHING I ate was great! The NOLA sauce on the fried rice (or anything) is a must! Everything was hot and fresh. Needless to say, I'll be going back again and again! Prices were are a huge incentive to return, as well.
