  SO GLAD I FOUND THIS PLACE. Got my food to go, very authentic feeling from the environment to the staff to the food. Very hearty large helpings of food, enough to have a second meal. Reasonably priced, and lots of menu choices. This is a spot I will be back to many times.

  This place hands down delivers great food, service and atmosphere constantly. You will never go wrong with Cool Runnings. Since being featured on Dinner, Drives and Dives I've frequently visit. Just today I had the oxtails and as usual it was fantastic! Thank you Cool Runnings for never letting me or my family down!

  A really cool spot with a relaxed atmosphere, which offers a wide variety of hearty food options and even a buffet on Friday nights and Sundays! I had a combination plate of the curried goat and the oxtails, which came with steamed cabbage. The goat had a nice subtle warm spiciness which paired well with the texture and depth of the butter beans, and the oxtails had a hint of sweetness from the carrots in the sauce. The rice served to help pull it all together and pick up the sauce. Even the cabbage was delicious as it provided a nice sweetness and lightness to the plate. All in all it was a very filling and hearty meal.

  Authenticity is an understatement for what this restaurant produces. Their food, staff, venue etc, are all representations of Jamaica. The cleanliness of this place is admirable. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who hopes to try Jamaican cuisine. It is the real deal. I especially love their Sunday brunch which is extremely affordable for the variety of food they offer.

  A Sunday buffet is offered which includes rice, vegetables and various styles of fish and meats. The fish (Tilapia and Red Snapper) was good, thought the Red Snapper was a bit dry. There was curry chicken and stew, both very good. The jerk chicken and pork was also good, perhaps a little milder than I was hoping. There was Mac and Cheese (pretty good, a little dry) and meatballs. Not exactly sure what the meatballs were seasoned it, but they were very tasty and nice and hot (temperature), I think I enjoyed them most on the buffet. Of course, I can't go to a Jamaican place without trying their patties. Fantastic! Freshly prepared, good crust and very flavorful beef filling. Would easily recommend those.
  If you have never tried Caribbean food, this is a good place to start. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try .
