(July 23, 2018, 1:56 pm)Oscar is very knowledgeable in his trade, is honest, fair, hard working and cares for his customers. He responds quickly, making every effort to make the service call in a timely manner. After having the unit fail, the AC tech that our warranty company had out miss-diagnosed the problem and recommended a replacement part that would not fix the problem nor was it's cost covered under the warranty. Oscar checked it out and expertly explained what was wrong (12 year old evaporator coils leaking) and why the other company was incorrect. Oscar re-worked his schedule to make the installation since we were without AC. As for caring for his customers, he stopped by just to check on us and confirm if there was anything he could do while waiting for the replacement.
This is Oscar's family business which he runs with customer care as the top priority. I highly recommend him for your AC needs. -

Oscar responded quickly to my message, agreed to come within a few hours, arrived on time, and worked so efficiently to get our central AC unit working again within the hour. He also provides us with ample details of what he does, the current condition of our unit, and exactly what we need to keep an eye out for in the future. He charges a fair price, and most importantly he cares about his customers. I strongly recommend him!

(September 17, 2015, 5:08 pm)I was referred to Oscar with HQ Air Conditioning for an issue with my zoned downstairs Rheem AC unit. I could not be happier with his service... guys like Oscar are EXACTLY why I love supporting smaller local businesses over the "big names."
I called around 9:15am, and by noon Oscar had been out to our place in Fulshear, troubleshot the issue, and ensured everything was operating properly again. He carefully explained what had happened and what my options were in the future if our homebuilder's cost-saving installation job and system design caused further problems. BUT, he didn't hit me with the huge expensive "solution" right off the bat. He provided a tiered approach to solving the problem - let's start by trying the inexpensive and less complicated fix today, and take it from there. That's refreshing, isn't it?! I have had simple AC issues in the past where the "big name" company's first suggestion was to replace the whole unit -- that's now how HQ Air Conditioning does business at all.
After our main issue was resolved, Oscar also let us know he noticed that the "big name" AC company that had been out this spring to do annual service hadn't properly cleaned the condensers outside and they were filthy. We had him clean those up, and install a couple of kill switches on the units in the attic, which of course the homebuilder had skimped on too.
