  I thought the reviews might be too good to be true. But it turns out, this place deserves its high marks. The mole enchiladas were outstanding, along with the flavorful refried beans. The tamales were outstanding too. But what I appreciated most was the warm and welcoming service and the perfect cleanliness of the place. Both gave me a lot of confidence in a new place. So, this place is a little hard to find -- trust Google Maps. But definitely worth it.

  It was late when we called in our order. Didnt know about this place till just a few weeks ago. Met the owner the 1st time in and a pleasure to talk to. The food is great. Reminds me of my mom and grandmother cooking when i was a kid, especially breakfast menu. This going to be another one of my new local spots. Thank Don Pepe for moving into our neighborhood.

  This is my new favorite Mexican place in Houston. The owners are very friendly and the food is great. The "green enchiladas" have the best verde sauce I've ever had.

  Awesome service, better food, great prices. You must come and enjoy their delicious breakfast. I’m so happy this place is so close from home.

  This place is a hidden germ! From the moment you enter, you will feel like in an authentic Mexican restaurant, even the tables are authentic! As for the food, there are not many items in the menu, but everything they have is absolutely delicious! You will not be disappointed, anything is good.
