  Update:
  After numerous attempts to get my account corrected through the billing office, I tried going directly to the office manager. Tia was very cordial, compassionate and apologetic for all the missteps that caused my initial review. My account has been corrected, I've received a refund of the over payment and have an appointment to see the doctor at no additional charge. I'm grateful that they want to make this right and change my opinion of their business.
  
  I have painful bone spurs in my feet and made an appointment to discuss shockwave therapy and said that when I made the appointment. On my first visit I told the doctor that I was there to discuss shockwave therapy and was told I'd have to see the other doctor. Without performing any tests, he said I could try physical therapy but I'd need surgery to solve the problem. Thinking that physical therapy was where shockwave therapy would be administered, I made an appointment and went to physical therapy to discuss shockwave therapy. Again told I'd have to see the other doctor. In both visits, they tried to convince me that I need surgery and ignored my request for the modality of treatment I wanted. Then I got the bill! After insurance negotiated rates, I was billed $400! I called the billing office to ask why the charges were so high and found out they had charged me for a boot brace I had refused. When I explained that I had refused the boot, she asked me if I was sure. What? I told her I was absolutely positive. She said she'd have to confirm that with the doctor's office and if it was verified, they'd resubmit my bill to insurance. In the end, they lost a patient because they advertise a modality of treatment that they weren't willing to perform, they want to keep bringing you back for treatment of symptoms, not fixing the underlying problem with the requested treatment, they only want to discuss surgery, they over charge for services and charge for goods not received.

  Dr. Frazier is the most laid back and informative specialist I've met. Great staff and everyone is willing to help. I was in great pain and they all took care of me immediately. Will recommend to everyone. Thanks!

  I have seen Dr. Jex as well as had several friends see him for various foot related issues, including two that needed surgery. I have found him to be very concerned, caring and of the highest integrity. All of my friends were impressed too. He made me feel at ease. He was friendly and engaging. Plus, unlike most other doctors I've been to, he actually spent the time with me to fully understand my situation. The treatment he prescribed worked well and I'm very happy with the outcome. No one that I've recommended him to has had a bad experience. I would recommend him again without hesitation.
