“I have been a resident here at Brookdale Memorial Oaks almost five years. I am very happy with my experience living here. In my opinion, it takes a very special type person to do what is necessary to work in this environment. The entire staff here are very caring and seem sincerely to want my life here to be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Showing respect for me as a person. The food served is very good and you have multiple other choices to choose from if you don’t like the primary choice of the day. Also, if you have certain needs, such as being diabetic, every effort is made to accommodate those needs. There are numerous activities for residents provided by the Activities Director. Entertainment of various types are brought in on a regular basis each month. She also sets up outside field trips of interest. She is always open to listening to resident input of their personal interest. The nursing staff maintains good coordination with my medical needs. This is my home. I have many new friends here that have made my life more meaningful and enjoyable.”

“My primary doctor referred me to Bay Brook Sleep specialist to get the equipment for a 3 day home sleep study done. Due to some serious health issues that he feels has to do with some form of sleep apnea. The place is very clean and my greeting was very welcoming. I originally made my appointment on the phone with Jorge, who was super nice and professional. Sleep studies are not cheap even with a good PPO, even the studies done from your home have out of pocket costs. But, luckily this gem of a place worked a decent payment plan for me, so as not to break the bank especially with the holidays coming up around the corner. I was more than grateful for that. I met with Jack the Sleep Specialist. He was wonderful and made me feel at ease. He showed me exactly how to use the equipment and gave me very simple but thorough instructions. He did not miss a beat. I left my appointment feeling confident that I will get very accurate results. Today is day one and I will be using their equipment tonight (Wednesday), Thursday and Friday night. When I return it on Monday, Jack will be the specialist who will be looking at all the information and calling me with the results. I will report back next week and let you all know how it went. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment for any type of Sleep Study that you or a loved ones may need. Special shout out to Jack, Jorge and a very understanding CEO. Thanks again for making my experience a very good one.”

“Dr. Weston Hickey rocks! I've seen a few doctors in my time but few have had the "snap" that Dr. Hickey does. He's a listener, thoughtful in his responses, and he's not one to start slinging medications around in the hopes of getting a lucky hit. Likewise, to be as busy as they are, wait times for appointments are reasonable, especially when compared to some of the other doctors I have. Best of all, he's a real person, not someone who has placed themselves upon a pedestal of their own construction.”
