“I have been a resident here at Brookdale Memorial Oaks almost five years. I am very happy with my experience living here. In my opinion, it takes a very special type person to do what is necessary to work in this environment. The entire staff here are very caring and seem sincerely to want my life here to be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Showing respect for me as a person. The food served is very good and you have multiple other choices to choose from if you don’t like the primary choice of the day. Also, if you have certain needs, such as being diabetic, every effort is made to accommodate those needs. There are numerous activities for residents provided by the Activities Director. Entertainment of various types are brought in on a regular basis each month. She also sets up outside field trips of interest. She is always open to listening to resident input of their personal interest. The nursing staff maintains good coordination with my medical needs. This is my home. I have many new friends here that have made my life more meaningful and enjoyable.”
