“Loren and Bobby exceeded every expectation that I could have had for a home buying experience. I met them at the start of my search for a first home when I had no idea what I was looking for, what I could afford, what part of town I wanted to focus on, or even that there were different kinds of loans. Over the course of a few short months, Loren (very patiently and kindly) helped me figure it all out. We went to all kinds of showings whenever it was convenient for me, and he helped me prioritize what I actually wanted. I had a ton of questions about every part of the process, and Loren went above and beyond to answer each question - everything from "What kind of loan would I need for all these renovations?" to "How much does a decent stove cost?" to "Would I be able to get out of my current lease?" to "What does escrow mean?". When it came to pursuing homes that I liked, he worked as an advocate for me and helped me get a really great price for the house itself and to get repairs made at a great price as a result of the inspection. I truly could not be happier or more impressed with my experience. You're the best, Loren! They've also built a great network of contacts - inspectors, contractors, cleaning services, mortgage people, etc - across the city to make the entire process go smoothly and seamlessly. Each of their recommendations not only did a great job themselves, but also had great things to say about their experiences with the Eastwood guys. 10/10 would work with again!”

“My car transmission died. Was unsure if I could afford to fix it but just needed to know before scrapping the car all together. Alex at Transmission Masters explained to me the situation and what the best course of action was. I would highly suggest these guys, especially over any big name dealership.”

“This place was great! If you want a fresh burger not made frozen, then this is your place. They use ground chuck. I tried the double meat with cheese and fries. They give you lot of fries so I would suggest sharing. They have outside sitting. There is no parking besides on the street. I paid no more than $9.49 for the double meat with cheese and fries (with no salt). I would recommend visiting.”

“Martha is an excellent teacher and made us feel comfortable with our wedding day dance. She is flexible with her schedule and very reasonably priced. She listened to what we wanted and taught us exactly what we needed without pushing us to learn dances we weren't interested in like other studios did. We left feeling more than confident and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn to dance!”

“It's exciting to see that Houston is finally following the trend of having animal cafe's. This cozy place is perfect for any feline lover, as the prices are somewhat reasonable at $10/hr for an adult. The cafe is somewhat small, but feels quaint and cozy. Due to its size, reserving ahead of time is most recommended. As for the cats, I highly recommend going on the weekday, if possible. On the weekends, they've received more than their fair share of attention, so petting them and playing with them can be somewhat of a struggle against their lazy nature. Furthermore, I'd really wish the $10 entrance fee included a few cat treats to entice our feline friends, as this is what many cat cafes abroad do. However, for a first iteration, I'm happy to see that the El Gato coffeehouse offers a wide range of activities including book clubs, yoga, and movie nights with the cats. I hope this will encourage other animal cafes to pop up eventually. P.S. The coffee was actually pretty decent!”
