“This is the closest YMCA to where I live, so it's my regular gym by default. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles you'll find at other, larger YMCA locations in the city. But that's balanced by the relatively small attendance in the workout area. You won't often have to wait to get on equipment or a bar. A core group of regulars gives the place a close-knit feel. Staff is friendly and relaxed. Lots of group classes are offered, if you're looking for those. Families with kids will find plenty of camp and league options. The weight area is very basic and somewhat limited. The staff could do a better job making sure people re-rack weights and leave areas clean when done. Other than that, I enjoy going here.”
