  Beautiful garden with lots of trails around flower beds, fountains, and ponds. Lovely place to go walk around! The back part of the garden is currently closed (2/2019) due to flood damage, but they are working on fixing it up.
  The visitor center is closed, not sure for how long, but there are restrooms by the Little Blue Library.
  The garden is definitely worth a visit! Great photography location!

  My wife and I love this place. We had a few date hangouts here and engagement photos taken here as well. We especially love this time of year when the magnolias and the cherry/Peach blossoms start to bud. Harvey did major damage to parts of the garden and it has not been repaired last time we visited

  Very beautiful, calm & peaceful venue. This is a great place to go to get your head together. The tranquility takes you out of the day's cares & you can enjoy being in the moment. Many plants I've heard about but never seen; butterflies and so forth. This is a self guided walking tour; it is 10 acres split into 5 & 5. There are places to sit & rest or reflect. Handicap friendly.

  This is a beautifully kept garden. Family friendly with trails, water features, art pieces and zen like areas. There is also a Shakespeare garden lined with black stones. Great place for a romantic date or a quite place to get away from the big city feel. Just lovely.

  The arboretum seems fully restored, and the trails are in great condition. I love this place that is so close to the city but has a real country feel. The bogs are beautiful and tranquil. Come early and see deer, rabbits and lots of beautiful birds, and very few people!

Mercer Botanic Gardens - Harris County Precinct 4

The botanic gardens and arboretum are divided by Aldine Westfield Road in Humble, Texas. On the east side is the botanic gardens where over 20 acres of beautifully maintained gardens feature bamboo, color displays, daylilies, endangered species, ferns, gingers, herbs, tropicals, to name a few.
