  Ashley was amazing, she listened to what I wanted and was patient and nice all the time. I had a haircut and styling and she delivered an amazing job. I will come back and ask for her, very pleased. First time here and the salon is super nice and relaxing. I wish I knew of them earlier. Staff is friendly also. Found my place for hair care. I had a great experience.

  Whitney was incredible. She fixed my over-processed hair and made the roots match perfectly in no time at all and no additional fees. I was more than amazed. I have been to several salons and right when I thought I was going to give up, she worked her magic. Very affordable! Will never go anywhere else again! Thank you so very much Whitney!

  Yazmin is amazing. Prior to moving to Houston, I had the same hairstylist from my first haircut to my wedding day, so you can imagine that I had a hard time trusting anyone else. Yazmin has taken care of me a few times now and each cut looks better than the last. Last week I came in and said simply "just make it look healthy," and she gave my hair some shape and body that makes me actually want to wear it down! I work in a warehouse and a messy bun/pony tail are my go-to, and she broke me of it by doing such an excellent job. She's completely professional and kind and I could not recommend this salon, or Yazmin, more highly. My husband, who rarely comments on things like this, can't stop talking about how good my hair looks! Thanks for doing a great job :)

  My first visit was today 1/12/2019 with Yazmin. I am happy. My hair has found a new home and a new friend. This place and especially the people are wonderful. Yazmin took notes for future reference as she does my hair. I have never had anyone do that before.

  Whitney did a wonderful job on my haircut, conditioning and styling. Jennifer Thompson gave a free consultation to determine the best course of action. I am very happy with the services at J Thompson. The staff is very knowledgeable and the salon is lovely.
