  We recently changed dentists to Dr Calcina due to the flood affecting our previous pediatric dentist. Dr Calcina, and staff, were excellent, parents are invited to the back to be with the child, and my daughter, although apprehensive at first, was completely comfortable and ultimately seemed to want to stay. I appreciate Dr Calcina's experience, diverse background, upraising and education and am very grateful that we had a chance to experience her care.
  
  Update 1.21.2019
  A third visit and we had a simple extraction today after cleaning. Still no cavities. Dr Calcina patiently and carefully provided a local anesthetic. My 7 yr old felt nothing. No tears, no winces, no pain. --- all these leave dad happy. Dr Calclina is always a bright spot in our year!

  Dr. Calcina is one of the BEST! My daughter was very comfortable! The service was fast, and friendly. The office was kid friendly and clean. She takes her time, and seem like she’s very concerned about her patients! They give goodie bags, and let the kids pick their taste while watching a movie! I love it & recommend Clay Dental.

  THIS HAS BEEN MY DAUGHTER’S DENTIST SINCE 2014. DR MARÍA CALCINA IS JUST AMAZING WITH CHILDREN, SHE HAS A WAY TO MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SO FAR , MY DAUGHTER HAS ZERO CAVITIES OR PROBLEMS FOLLOWING HER ORDERS. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WE FOUND HER, AND WE REFERRED OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HERE.

  My kids go here and I absolutely love it. The staff is friendly and Dr.Maria Calcina is always happy and focused on the kids; she actually listens to us and doesn’t try to rush us out. I would highly recommend. Only bad thing is the waiting area- it’s small but they have a tv and two tablets for the guest. Also, my kids love the prize machine they have. The staff give you a coin and you put it into the machine and win a prize every time. [:

  My kids are with Dr.Calcina for over 2 years now. I’m so greatful to her. She is an amazing specialist! Not just she knows her job very well, but she knows how to approach tough kids like my daughter. My daughter had a very bad experience with dentist when she was 4 and after that every visit to a doctor was like a nightmare. When we first came to Dr. Calcina she told right away that my kid is scared, but she knows how to help. So gradually doctor built a very trustful relationship with her. And during all 2 years we are so happy! Today we had to pull out 3 teeth and we did it and my litttle drama princess is just awesome. Dr Calcina pulled out her teeth in less than 1 minute ????! That’s what I call PROFESSIONALISM! Thanks to the great team of Clay Dentistry for an amazing job! Regards, Nargis! ????????❤️
