Katy Church of Christ

I have been working and worshiping with this congregation for almost 20 years. Several things I can say without any reservation. This congregation loves the Lord, loves souls, and loves God's word. Everyone is welcome regardless of your background. This is a church dedicated to changing lives and seeking God's forgiveness according to God's word. If you want a church that lovingly encourages you to be more like Christ, then this is the place for you. We maintain that if we believe, practice, and teach just what those first-century Christians did in the New Testament, then we will be nothing more or less than they were--simply Christians. Come visit and let us get to know you.

We started attending the church of Christ in Katy about 6 years ago, and it has been a real blessing for our family. The lessons and sermons are all based on what is taught in the bible, and there are a lot of great lessons and activities for the kids and youth.

The church of Christ in Katy is a beautiful mix of diverse people who blend perfectly together in worship and in fellowship with common goals – to follow Christ with the bible as our ultimate authority, to grow together in knowledge and truth, and to bring others to Christ. You can’t find a more loving, passionate and genuine group of believers anywhere. If you seek to worship God in spirit and truth and to grow as a Christian and be surrounded by loving people, this would be a great place to visit.

The church of Christ in Katy has truly been a blessing in my life. I was raised at this congregation and when I moved back to Katy after college I continued to attend. Currently I serve as a deacon and can not imagine a more loving and generous congregation.

The elders strive above all else to lead us in the truth of God's Word. The bible classes and sermons help everyone to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible. There are classes and activities for all age groups and an extremely active youth group for 6th-12th grade.

I've been going to the Lord's church here in Katy since I was very young. My wife and I are members and have been attending together for the last 10 years. I've been to many other places where the Lord's church meets, and Katy is a uniquely lovely place. The people who come together here are truly seeking to worship and serve God in spirit and in truth.

I can't imagine a better family; it's truly a blessing to be a part of the body here in Katy. The bible class curriculum is strong and deep; everyone is hungry to learn and understand more. Everyone is eager to help and serve one another, and put the Word into practice to be a reflection of the love we've received.
