  Very clean and new. Many excellent and experienced nursing and support and respritory specialist for those that need them. good physical therapy gym and everyone there is very concerned for your improvement and very skilled. getting me to be able to get up and transfer from bed to wheelchair when i thought i never could. they wouldnt take no for an answer, and always had several alternatives for doing things like getting out of the bed or doing your basic hygene..nuff said. the food couldnt be better..today was real roasted turkey, green bean cassarole, stuffing and gravy, and sweet potato pie...yum.its not even Christmas fresh vegetables good lean meats and i suspect the rolls are made from scratch mmm cafeteria rolls. little shasta sodas for the asking or juices anytime. individual room air conditioners. they are very good about getting me my amazon packages and what little mail i had to have come here. i needed special respritory care as i was on a ventilator when i came in and a really high volume of oxygen which their excellent specialist weaned me down to a much lower level and I'll continue working on that when i get home. they are making sure im going to have all the right medical equipment and oxygen concentrators already at my house before im released. i see them spending extra time getting the dementia patients to eat all their food which they will chop or grind if necessary l. They are sensitivrle to some of us like me that i dont have family or friends that can visit me from beaumont.
  
  i will give a warning on two things. make sure your loved one has some quarters or a few dollar bills if they like things out of the snack vending machine and through no real fault of their own. the guest wifi does not work. have a decent internet plan on their phone if they want netflix or hulu or want to access their bank and credit card stuff or amazon or email. medical people dont think they can manage their own routers so they have outside companies set them up and they password it all up so even the facility cannot configure them to work plroperly even if they knew how. not much to be done about it. oh and i didnt think much of their boxes of tissue.. get them some real kleenex or posh puffs
  
  to be honest, and not meaning to be derogatory, if your loved one has all their marbles and can get around the building reasonably. they will have the most enjoyable experience here. persons with dementias will be impossible to satisfy and the very frail will have to wait sometimes as it takes much longer and sometime more than one person to use the hoyer lift or get them on the wheelchair safely and comfy but they attend to everybodys needs. i always take the time to greet the really quiet ones and encouurage the older and frailer patients in the therapy gym.
  
  you can even play one of two slot machines with real pull down handles with tokens the activity director will give you. always popular.
  
  yes i had to wait to get cleaned once in a while and once or twice i had to ask for my pain medication a couple of times but you have to keep in mind that they dont just fling narcotics around loosely. its one persons job to secure them and make sure you dont get them mkre often than would be safe for you and that takes time.
  
  just visit your loved ones. leave them with a few quarters, get them one of those horseshoe neck pillows or a nice wheelchair cushion. Have faith that the staff will get to your loved one in due order. You really dont have to badger them about cleaning them or checking for sores. All of that is done regularly.you can even bring them a special ice cream they like and it will be kept just for them.
  
  oh the hair stylist comes once a month (i think) and will wash and cut your hair for $15 cash or debit.
  
  thats really about it. the wifi was the most annoying thing to me but i have my window pc and it means mor to me.ill be sorry to leave in a couple of weeks but ive been away from my home and the silly little weiner dogs for too long.

  My great Aunt was at this facility a couple of times. Her first admission was in 2015, then twice in 2017. During these admissions we had some ups and very few downs. The care was generally great. Her last visit was a couple of months ago. The current leadership in the facility is great and engaged. We received the best care anyone could ever ask for. My Great Aunt ended passing away at the facility because she was on hospice. Her final days were special and she experienced lots of loving care. I would refer this facility to anyone that is seeking great care for their loved ones. Thank you so much!!!!
