Cypresswood Golf Club

Played both courses twice in last two weeks. Both challenging and in good condition. Bunkers were raked in Tradition yesterday which was much needed. Greens were fantastic. An occasional Marshall during round would help pace. The variety, course condition, friendly staff, and reasonable rates make this one of my favorite courses in Houston and I drive all the way from Downtown area to play. Duke’s just around the corner on FM 1960 is a nice place for good food after the round as well.

Played the tradition course Saturday after thanksgiving and the course was in very good shape and the greens were pristine! Pretty much had the course to yourself. If you want to have something to eat need to stop before or after as there is no restaurant. Great layout and there are no houses lining the course.

Great course, and great value. Greens are immaculate, and a little fast for me. Pace of play was fine. Great service. Very nice courses. I played the Traditions course, which is the nicer, and more challenging of the two.

The Staff at the temporary clubhouse were friendly and helpful. A great way to start the day!!! The course was in great shape and the greens were outstanding. I recommend Cypresswood Golf course to any golfer looking for a good outing. The Tradition course is great for the better players and the Cypress course for those just looking to have fun. (Almost thought of giving the course 4 stars due to the temporary clubhouse, but the course and staff more than made up for that.)
