  Attended last year from Feb-May (weekends) and I had an awesome time. Very informative and knowledgeable staff. The instructors aren’t just people who learned from a book they are real life truckers with experience under their belts. Billy kept the class fun and entertaining. David helped us ace our backing maneuvers and Molina helped out in the class.
  
  Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that wants to get their CDL

  Great school. Billy, Ed, Martin, Sara, and David all were excellent instructors and knew their knowledge and were very encouraging and educational. Just got back from taking my driving test in Livingston and passed with flying colors and received my license. As long as you study up on your pre-trip for your tractor and coupling of your trailer and learn it word for word, and you have no issues with your driving skills (backing, parallel parking, offset maneuvers, etc etc) the rest is a piece of cake and should have no issues at DPS when you schedule to take the final DPS driving test.

  Everyone here is awesome! John and Maria taught me the skills to drive and back big trucks, and Sarah taught the CDL permit material in the classroom. I passed my CDL test first time with Stevens Transport. Steven's 3 week program is very fast paced but it was just enough time. If you are unfamiliar with manual transmissions it may be beneficial to use the Lone Star 6 week course.

  Billy, Ed and David really know their stuff when it comes to driving. All of them are excellent trainers. Class sizes are small meaning more time for you to be out there training.
