“We found floors and beyond in Valpak. There are no coupons like all other contractors use to entice, but we still considered after doing several review searches on him. To date, I don't believe he has any ratings on google or Yelp less than 5. Also, he is A rated on BBB and the business is accredited. There is even one 5 star review on the BBB. So, he doesn't need to entice via coupons and we still chose him. We had our whole downstairs flooring done, kitchen cabinets, countertops and paint. Upstairs guest bathroom we had flooring, cabinets, removed tub and had walk-in shower installed and painting. You will ultimately not pay any less than a big box store, but what you are ultimately paying for is Khalil. He has degrees in remodeling and design and was always full of ideas and suggestions and that really helped. But the best thing about Floors and Beyond is the desire to make things right when inevitably things go wrong. We had a few snafus, the worst of which included ripping up of new tile that was already placed and reinstalling. There was no hesitation by Khalil to make that decision. You are dealing with the boss who has full authority and thankfully full of desire to make the customer happy. The issue we hear most about from others who are doing this type of work is the unreliability of sub-contractors. Except for federal holidays(we did our job during xmas/new years) and Sundays, a contractor was at our house every day. And every morning Khalil, before opening his shop, would stop by the house, followup, verify work done, and give any instructions to the sub-contractors for that day. We are now considering re-doing our upstairs flooring now that our downstairs was re-done and we aren't even considering anyone else.”
