Unfortunately I did not get my “dream birth” at the birth center and had to be transferred to the hospital due to complications. “There’s not enough good things to say about Alyson, I could go on and on. She was my saving grace in achieving my goal of an unmedicated vaginal breech birth! I found out my baby was breech at 38 weeks and left my hospital provider to transfer to Alyson’s care at 39 weeks. She gladly welcomed me even though I was literally at the tail end of my pregnancy. Her knowledge and many years of experience in breech birth made me super confident in her ability to guide me through my breech birth. She made me feel so empowered and at peace with having a breech baby which was so nice since majority of providers approach breech babies with fear and panic. My birth and recovery could not have gone smoother. I appreciate Alyson’s hands off approach to birth (unless an intervention is necessary). She was calm and supportive and held space for me and it was a world of a difference to not be told what position to be in, when to push, etc like my previous hospital birth. Our appointments easily run an hour long because we talk about so much and are never rushed. I greatly appreciate her natural mindset and approach to life. I just love her overall and will definitely be back for any future babies I have!!”
