“I don't know if I should say fortunately or unfortunately but I do not have any pictures. When my daughter was about eight or nine years old she fell down hit the back of her head on the corner of a Sharp end table. For those of you that do not know the scalp bleeds profusely when it is cut combine that with my drama queen daughter and you have the making of what Daddy thinks is a big emergency. Grabbing a paper towel put it on the back of her head to stop the bleeding and then not even removing that paper towel and putting a hand towel and holding the back of her head to stop the bleeding. I thought for sure she had fractured her skull. at least she was yelling like she did. I called the ambulance showed up so fast you would have thought they were already on my street. I carried her out to the street and I stepped up into the ambulance with her and the paramedics remove the rag I was holding to her head. The cut was so minor it didn't even need stitches the bleeding had stopped from the direct pressure those men and women treated me with so much respect even though I felt foolish because it was something that I never needed to call an ambulance for and they were like better safe than sorry. They checked her eyes out and stuff made sure she didn't have a concussion tell me what to do if there were any further complications. And they were out of there just as fast as they came very professional well organized personable attentive just all around good people. So when you see they're having a fish fry or some other kind of fundraiser head over there and support them because they definitely support us.”
