“Great location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. But although the store is always clean on the inside, it’s clear that the staff doesn’t pay very much attention to the outside. The parking lot is consistently trashed. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t see trash everywhere.”

“Fantabulous Dr Oliver. Always professional, caring, doesn't hurt, soooooo helpful. You deserve much more than five stars..... as many as the milky way. We drive an hour and a half one way. Totally worth it.”

“Great knowledgeable coaches. They are consistently making sure you understand the movements of the workout & your body mechanics are correct. The gym environment is positive and music selection is great. The workout will make you SWEAT, you can go at your own pace however. Plus they offer kickboxing which I like when I want to switch things up.”

“Dr. Tran is very patient, highly knowledgeable, and extremely compassionate, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone! She answered all of my many questions thoroughly, as this was my first time dealing with new insurance and vision problems on my own. She made me feel comfortable and personally and promptly returned my calls. Her staff is also very kind and professional. Thank you, Dr. Tran!”

“Ever since I was little I've went to Ms.Pat's for for a hair cut. She's great at what she do and have continued to do so for than 40 years. Besides cutting hair, there's also a beauty salon inside for women. To me Ms.Pat is not only a barber but is family that I care for.”

“Found this place through Google, what a great first experience! Daniel took his time and faded my hair just like I wanted. He really knows what he's doing and I'm very happy with the haircut. You will come out looking fresh and will receive compliments from everyone. Booking appointment was effortless and everything went according to schedule. Didn't have to wait thanks to Daniel's time management being flawless. I will definitely be back and will tell my relatives and friends about this place.”

“We had the privilege of working with Family First for an intensive 7-week program for our 4-year old son combining Speech Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy (with their partners at Kids Connect). Prior to being referred here, the road we were on was not easy. Around age 3, our sweet and happy boy started becoming angry and aggressive, exhibiting some pretty "strong willed" and often times "defiant" behavior. By age 4, his behaviors worsened and started causing problems in school and with friends. We sought help which, before finding Family First, came in the form of mainstream behavioral intervention which focuses primarily on teaching parents how to respond to and correct "problem" behaviors in children. While these "tools" worked to elicit a specific behavior from our son, the approach felt very robotic and at times “soldier-like”. We couldn't shake the feeling that we were essentially applying a "bandaid" to his symptoms without figuring out and tending to the "why" behind them. Our son’s anger and aggression were still there; we had just effectively gotten him to hold it all in. This just didn't seem right. We had to know why our happy, sweet, affectionate, and loving toddler had become an increasingly angry and aggressive preschooler with his head down anxiously absorbed in his own world. This led us to advocate on his behalf, research all the options and eventually find real, life-changing help at Family First. At Family First, our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We feel extraordinarily fortunate to have found practitioners of the kind of work they do. It is honestly like a whole new world has been opened up for us and for our son. We believe (and hope) it is just a matter of time before the work they do becomes the way everyone works with children. Everything we’ve learned makes sense and feels right. We immediately saw positive results that really helped our son, instead of just putting a bandaid on things. Vanessa and her team focused on the foundation, the root causes of our son's behaviors, the "why", and began treating our son's needs on that very basic level. The results have been astounding. Now, instead of focusing on how to respond to our son's problem behaviors, we are finding that we rarely have any problem behaviors to respond to at all! After only 3 weeks, our son went from needing correction and time-outs several times per day at home and at school...to... now receiving glowing reports daily at school and only 2 time-outs in over 3 weeks. We know we are on a lifelong journey of development but we are so grateful for what this program is doing for our precious son. He is once again the happy little boy he was when he came into this world! The DIR Floor-time model that they employ should be standard parent education for everyone with children, not just families with specific needs. But for those of us who's children need additional help, this type of therapy has the potential to dramatically change the trajectory of a child's life. We are forever grateful to Vanessa, Cris, Michelle, Leslie and the entire team at Family First and Kids Connect.”

“I’d like to take a moment to express my thoughts when it comes to beginning a workout program with a trainer. I’ve had several trainers over the past but one stands out beyond the rest. Medalist Performance Advanced Tactical Athlete Strength and Conditioning (A-TASC) training program is by far the best and most successful, with that being said one must understand that you get out of it what your willing to put into it. For example if you put in 100% effort you will see results as well as feel them. If your willing to put forth the effort, time and have the discipline to follow instructions that Lealem provides you will be amazed. But I stress the importance when it’s time to train, YOU TRAIN push everything else to the side for the time being and merely focus on the task at hand. You can spend hundreds or thousands of dollars and countless hours in the gym and not reach the goals you set. That’s where a trainer that knows and understands your goals comes in with a huge success rate. I personally have been involved in Law Enforcement ten plus years, most of which where on Tactical / Elite squads and I highly recommend this program which is challenging but ultimately very rewarding. A Special Thanks Lealem, a trainer that is committed, willing to go above and beyond, very flexible with hours and days, he is always willing to help and shares knowledge to be successful. Don’t give up, keep pushing remember you want this. SUCCESS IS NO ACCIDENT.”

“Just like the original Rice location, this new Montrose location is such an awesome studio and workout! The location is also fantastic. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and motivating. They help you with your form and make all of the classss fun and challenging. First workout studio I’ve been to that I genuinely look forward to coming to class every time. I only wish I’d signed up for unlimited classes sooner!”
