The owner’s name is Thuy she’s the masterpiece behind all the flavors. The son’s name is Nhat, he will make you feel at home. Now the good stuff….. I ordered Chicken Pho and this is the first time that I don’t have to add anything to the soup to give it flavor, AMAZING!! My husband ordered the Birria tacos (I know what you’re thinking but let me explain) they are better than the other Birria in town and if you’ve ever had “Black Market Birria Tacos” then you’ll know these are on point if not better, they are made out of brisket, the tortilla has the red sauce and filled with cheese and toasted, served with lime, salsa, and consomé to dip!!! (Chef’s kiss!) Ms. Thuy gave us a sample to try of the spicy noodle soup, and yes another winner!! All I can say is I can’t wait to try more items (Garlic Butter crab, garlic butter shrimp, the sandwiches.. and so many more) Thuy, Thuy’s Husband and Nhat… keep up the good work!!! “Brunch at The Bay Patio was in one word…DIVINE. Beautiful outdoor waterfront dining along with live music, aqua table linen, sunshine & great food was the vibe! Shrimp and grits, avocado toast with smoked salmon along with a very dainty poinsettia cocktail followed by complimentary carafe of pineapple mimosas encouraged a much needed nap once I got home. All of my food was absolutely delicious. Both entrees were perfectly seasoned and presented beautifully; kudos to the Chef; job very well done! The manager Tia as well as waiter RJ were both very kind and attentive and the owner even came over to say hello. I could have stayed there all day…”

“I love a good cup of tea and despite what many believe or will tell you, I drink more tea than any other beverage. I love the countless options for tea and the growing number of establishments I can visit that specialize in tea. One I have tried and liked very much is Kim’s Teahouse, a fun place to visit for tea and food. This location on Mason Road in Katy, Texas features a medium- sized interior that can seat about 50 or so people. It is common to have to wait in line to place an order, due to the popularity and quality of the food and drink, but I have always been able to find a place to sit. The colorful art murals and other features make for a comfortable place to plop down and drink your tea while you converse with others, work on your laptop, or otherwise pass the time away. The number one reason to visit Kim’s Teahouse is for the wide assortment of teas. I like the large display of drinks on the wall and the numbering is good because you can order by number and be assured of getting what you wanted. But don’t think that the glassware you see depicted in the pictures on the wall is how you drink will get served. This is for show only. The drinks are served in large, ordinary plastic glasses with a seal across the top. I have liked every beverage I have tried from here, and that includes everything from strawberry tea to almond cream tea and others. Many of the teas come with added boba, tapioca, jelly, etc and that can make them even more fun to drink, especially for kids. Oh, and if you’re not necessarily in the mood for tea, they have coffee drinks and smoothies, too. With the food, the options are limited, but the snack size is just right for a quick meal. I like the spicy chicken the best, but the egg rolls are also good and, again, they match well with most any drink. The service is quite efficient for a place that is so popular and when I think about everything Kim’s Teahouse has to offer, it easily rates as one of my favorite places for tasty tea and an accompanying snack food, and it’s a place I will continue to visit.”

“Great menu options. The bacon cheese burger had tons of flavor, juicy and the perfect bun. The frito pie was crunchy and has a very favorable chili sauce. The Philly cheese steak tasted pretty close to the ones from Philly, just needed a little au'jus or mayo. Mozzarella sticks had so much great flavor you didn't need a dipping sauce and cheese was so melty. The onion rings were crunchy and had a great oniony flavor. The fries were fries...lol. over all excellent experience experience. Mimi waited on our table and she was fantastic. There was no issues with service or timing of food delivery.”

“I was nearby the area and was craving some pho. I decided go pop in and check out this place since it had good reviews. I ordered my fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and the P7 (pho with beef brisket and other beef slices, forgot what it is). i ordered the large one priced at 10.99. the broth tasted authentically good, with good amount of meats in it. I quite enjoyed it. the spring rolls were fresh, peanut sauce tasted right. i came in right when they opened so i was their first customer. didn’t think i’d get fast service but i did! The service was quick and friendly. The server (teenage kid with curly hair and probably the owner (asian woman) seemed both kind and approachable. The server was also on his feet making sure the tables are cleaned and prepped. it is a restaurant on the smaller side, so it might be difficult to find seating during lunch or dinner times. All items seemed reasonably priced and i spent about $16 for both items I ordered. I didn’t get to try other items on the menu but i will be back for sure!”

“Was really happy to find this place. After seeing a photo of Birria Ramen, I really wanted to give it a try. Met my family up here to try it out. I ordered the Birria Maruchan which was delicious. The birria was tender and amazingly spiced. The noodles are a bowl of instant Ramen noodles. You get cilantro and onions on the side, as well as hot sauce to mix in with it. This dish did not disappoint. It's uniqueness really makes me happy I got to try it. My wife ordered the Cheesey Birria Tacos. They were awesome! The tortillas are soft and fluffy. The meat is so tender and juicy. The dipping sauce goes great to enhance the flavor, too. It was delicious. After that we split their Chocobanana while my cousin got an order of churros. The churros are some of the best I've tried. They are fresh and perfectly fried. They were hot, crisp, and decadent. I will return for the Churros alone!”
