“I been here many times, never had a issues with the personal either in the shipping and receiving officee or with the fork lift drivers, also this place normally the loads are between 42,000 to 45 something but no big problem with that, never had a problems on the scales, just adjust to the axles correctly depending on your equipment dry or refer,”

“I HAVE NOT HAD ANY TYPE OF EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY FYI! But, I had to put my thoughts out there. I just finished reading every review they have on here and literally there was TWO good reviews. The most recent one stating that the company is under new management. I REALLY hope this is the case and that things have changed. I am a prospective costumer, and after reading all the reviews there is no way that I would even consider giving these guys any of my business. It's one thing if there are a handful of negative reviews, cause frankly you just can't please everyone. But when you have this many reviews and they are all negative and they are all repeating the same issues, then there is truly a big problem. If this company has changed and you have experience with the new management PLEASE post your review so future people looking for a tow/storage company will have an idea of how things have changed. If you work for this company, may I suggest trying to interact with your customers on here with negative/positive reviews. By doing so it shows that you are concerned with how the customers are feeling about your company. It sounds like y'all have some serious rebuilding to do.”

“Me and my dad have been looking to move our furniture a week before Thompson came out. We where chilling one day and 5 guys where about to take a half day off and leave at noon. They where willing to take their day off and move us right away, never seen that before (call = move 30 min. Later) and it was great! Nothing stolen, broken, or left behind. We even had an unknown broken dining table that out past movers broke and it was a tough break. Thompson said they could fix it for us but obviously we would have to provide the screws. Overall Thompson did a fantastic job! Everyone was helping and kind and did not even complain about their day off. Great people!”

Hanna never failed to inform me of all my options and I had no problems with my reservations. I asked questions and she answered. When I paid the bill, there were no hidden costs or fees. “Smooth moves was incredible. Long story, but my mother was moving to Houston from S.A. and hired a mover who was pulled over and arrested for driving a stolen truck. The truck (with my elderly mother's entire house inside) was confiscated and impounded. A friend recommended Smooth Moves, so I called Nate to discuss our predicament. It took about a week for the truck company to agree to release the contents, but Nate and his crew left Saturday at 8, drove to San Antonio to Penske, unloaded the truck and loaded his truck with everything. He actually had to repack some things and rent another truck because her movers had packed so badly. Nate must have known my level of anxiety because he communicated with me and took pictures through the entire process. They made it back to Houston and worked (patiently) on unpacking mom's stuff into a storage unit with all kinds of hiccups (codes not working, elevators shutting too quickly) till almost midnight. Nate and his crew worked for over 12 hours and the only additional charge was for the extra moving truck. I HIGHLY recommend Smooth Moves and plan to use them when Mom moves into her new house. Great job getting Mom's stuff back!”
