“I’ve been studying at Oak Shed Studios for three years now. I started with no real skill at all and through the amazing tutelage provided there, I have grown leaps and bounds. My Wednesday lesson is almost always the favorite part of my week, as the studio is filled with such passion as well as a heavy dose of good times. I’ve never enjoyed learning anything this much and I’m constantly being pushed; just enough, to ensure I don’t get complacent. “Sara was incredible. She really does the most beautiful work. I provided centerpieces for my wedding and she worked around them with the florals exactly as I pictured! My only issue is that she took back my flowers at the end of my wedding because I did not think to tell her I wanted to keep some of them. So if you want your flowers afterward let her know! But she was very apologetic when I pointed this out, and offered to make it up to me. She is so sweet and would recommend her to any bride getting married in the Austin area!”

I wanted to install a rainwater collection system on my property and walked in not really knowing what I was doing. I thought I'd at least buy the tanks and figure out the rest on YouTube. But the woman working there (I'm sorry I'm terrible at remember names) walked me through the entire installation process and explained all the equipment I needed and its function in the system. By the time I walked out, I had everything I needed and and entire plan of action. And then I installed it all exactly as she explained, and my rainwater collection system works perfectly! No YouTube needed!”

“The Cultural Hub is a great place to co-working space. In the summer of 2019, I used the Hub for a month because being a work-at-home mom with three kids at home was just too hard. Sure enough, during the COVID summer I had to quit working (at first) and then reduce my hours from 30 to 10 per week. I really missed having the Hub as an option. Now that I'm vaccinated, I will re-join the hub if I go back to working more than 10 hours per week. It's a quiet, lovely space with all the comforts of home -- but with the added benefits of a gracious host and respectful, friendly co-workers. I highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.”
