Stripes

This is not your typical stripes. Here everybody knows your name. The best customer service all around. Extremely fun environment. The most laid back crew in the morning. Must stop for delicious breakfast tacos in taco laredo. 100 percent recommend it.

This is my favorite local gas station/ convenience store. The employees are super friendly and always greeting new faces. What I love the most is that the manager and assistant manager have been there for years and care about their customers, even the newbies are friendly! The managers take the time to get to know "the usuals," like me and my father, who come in often. It's that kind of place you see in TV shows where the friendly local store staff greets people by name, and that store you've always wished you had in your area- that's THIS store for me!! I can go in and it is crazy as all get out and someone will always be saying hi to people as they come in. One day during a particularly busy time, and on the rare occasion a gal was working alone (Maria) because someone called out sick, & the line was backed up about 10 people deep! Maria didn't panic or get frustrated she went above and beyond to pace back & forth between BOTH registers to try & check people out faster!! If THAT isn't customer service I don't know what is!! It has had it's ups and downs over the years losing employees & unknowingly hiring some bad eggs but if you had a bad experience there- you should give them another shot. There are really great people working there!! Plus their drink selection and refills (even the very largest size is only $.86 WITH tax for I think 64oz!)
