Best gym in town if you're into barbell focused workouts.

They have like 12 PROPER power racks, 2 deadlift platforms and a ton of different types of barbells. Also a bunch of strongman equipment.

They have like 1 of every machine you would need and a couple spots for cable work.

If you're into powerlifting, strength training, strongman, etc this gym is for you.

My favorite gym in San Marcos! It’s a little off the beaten path but worth the drive out of town. They have a good mix of equipment and lots of space for doing squats or bench press. The people at the gym are very friendly and open to new people or if your needing a spot or tips on exercise. And the price is pretty hard to beat too!

This is truly one of the best gyms I have ever had the fortune of being part of. Big D has created and fostered a community of hard working, motivated, and disciplined individuals that do nothing but support and uplift each other. This gym has an amazing vintage style from times that have long past. From all the possible training areas you can be exposed to (powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman, highland games) to the loud motivating music that plays, the old weathered machines all just add to this environment that makes you want to train harder, longer and with more intensity. Some of the most high performing individuals I have met have been in this gym and I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about how amazing this gym is. Bodybuilders from around the country stop here for a chance to try out this one of a kind HARDCORE training facility.

Great gym! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They also have great specialty equipment there that has helped me continue to fix my lower back issues. I can literally ask them anything on how to improve my strength and conditioning and how to properly use the machines and they always help no questions asked. Glad I found them and looking forward to being at this gym as long as I am in San Marcos.
