Absolutely the best property managers and team of people to rent from. In all my years of renting I have never had such high level of service. When we signed our lease Diane told us what their maintenance request turnaround time and I will admit I was skeptical because in my experience landlords tell you what you want to hear when you are signing the lease, then do not follow through. Not here, Barnard Realty philosophy is that they treat their tenants how they would want to be treated and they mean it. Maintenance request turn around time is a matter of a day, they uphold their word, and truly care about the tenants. 5 star service is an understatement, I will be recommending them to anyone looking to buy or rent.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic Joel Barnard & Associates are as a property management company. We rented a property managed by Diane, and when the time came to move to a new rental, we chose to continue to work with Diane because she and her team were always professional, prompt, and respectful. They take their work seriously and care about both tenants and landlords. It was a pleasure doing business with this management company, especially when finding decent rentals in this market in San Marcos can be so difficult! We were very lucky to have found Diane and her team to manage the rental of our home for 3+ years while we were living overseas. Diane is an excellent property manager and very conscientious with regards to who lived there and how well they took care of the property. She is definitely not the type manager who will settle for just anybody moving in.

She managed the day-to-day issues of our property but we were always kept informed on how things were going, especially if any large expenditures were needed. We always knew things were going to be taken care of that were in the best interest for us and our property. It was also appreciated and comforting how responsive and available Diane was through either phone or email.

We used Joel Barnard & Associates for 2 years for a rental property in South Austin. They were absolutely the best landlords we have dealt with. They were always just a phone call away for our maintenance requests, updates, etc. They told us what they expected in order to refund the security deposit, we did just that & they issued our full deposit back-just as they had said they would.
