This is a true hidden gem, this museum describes how Texas and Texans participated in the wars from Mexican-American to Vietnam. It lays out every thing in a very easily explained systematic order with a good blend of words, pictures and artifacts.
A good collection with a lot of information. Almost exclusively war focused so if that's your thing Texas Heritage Museum is a must do. Cute cheesy things for out of state tourists as well as books and really cool posters in the gift shop.
My Mom worked at Cleburne Hardware when she graduated from high school in 1947.
Located on the campus. They have saved and honored history from Texas & Vietnam. Great displays, pictures & stories of those times. So important to remember our past & learn! Please Lord, let us never again chose the path of sacrificing hundreds of thousands of lives, there are wiser & better ways that We The People are capable of!! L
A must stop FREE!!!! Museum in Hillsboro TX. It's not that they have cool items on display. It's that they have the ACTUAL item from a particular person in History.
