(October 18, 2021, 4:18 pm)A great place to learn about aviation/drone history! Our tour guide was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and is obviously passionate about keeping Lt. Col. Harold F. Smith's legacy and collection alive and well. I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the area.

(August 18, 2020, 6:51 pm)The Aviation Unmanned Vehicle Museum in Caddo Mills, TX is a one-of-a-kind museum in a most unlikely place, Caddo Mills.
I found this FB site while looking for UAV/Drones for my newest book. And just like magic, this site popped out at me and said...."You must visit it as soon as you can!" and I did.
On my way back to AZ after visiting the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, OH I decided to visit the AUVM, I was not disappointed, as a matter of fact, I was delightfully surprised at the quality and the amount of drone hardware are exhibits the Smith family has on display.
To find this gem of a museum, it is exit 83 on Interstate 30. Once you exit, head north on FM 1565 for about a mile or so and the museum is on your left.
