Rachael has been a blessing to my son and our family. We previously were with a different speech therapist and my son wasn’t improving but since the short time that we have been with Rachael I have seen improvement and it makes me excited about all that he is going to be able to achieve while being in Rachaels care. My son loves coming to speech and looks forward to it every time. He had a tongue tie revision at 3 years old and is working on relearning to use his tongue correctly to pronounce words. We were recommended to come here by some close friends of ours that come here as well and we are so very thankful we were told about Southern Star because it has been a real blessing to our family. I highly recommend!

We have been with Rachael at Southern Star Speech and Language Therapy for 7 months now and she has been such a blessing to our family. Our 3 year old daughter went through several traumatic medical events that led to her developing a stutter that not only affected her but our entire family. She is patient, kind, and treats my girl as her own. My daughter fell in love with her after her first visit and looks forward to seeing her every week! She has taught her strategies that she can use for a lifetime on how to push through her struggles and become more fluent. She has taught myself and my husband ways to help her at home. Our daughter has progressed tremendously and her confidence keeps growing. We absolutely LOVE Rachael and are eternally grateful for her. HIGHLY recommend!
Rachael is the best! At 16 months of age my daughter was at an 8 month expressive level. In 4 months Rachael caught her up to her appropriate expressive age (21 month level at 20 months of age). My daughter has developed exceptionally while in her care. We are so thankful for her! Highly recommend!
We are forever grateful for Rachael at Southern Star Speech and Language Therapy. She worked with our son and gave him the lifelong strategies to overcome his stutter and become a more fluent speaker. Seeing his confidence blossom is the greatest gift. Rachael is a true blessing!
