Mountain Valley was extremely accommodating and considerate with the circumstances they were presented with regarding the passing of a family member who died before Christmas and was discovered by his son. It was decided by all who were involved that because of the short time frame before Christmas and a tight budget (as he was only in his 50s there was no money set aside for funeral costs) to do as much as was affordable and possible in such a short time so his loves ones could have some closure, especially his son. They did an excellent job with so little time and the budget they were presented with. He was displayed exactly as was discussed. The embalming was considerably remarkable, I truly half expected him to open his eyes and say "gotcha!" and that this was all an elaborate joke. Thank you Mountain Valley Funeral Home for helping us in such a trying time and for the closure you were able to help us achieve.
