(July 17, 2021, 4:10 am)This shrine of Jesus is amazing. You can climb the steps, leave pictures, flowers, rosary.. Free holy water on the left of the statue. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

(June 22, 2020, 6:44 am)At first glance I thought wow the Jesus statue was nice but big. But then i actually went inside the place and the ambiance was calming (the building where the statue is sits beside the church building). I mean as soon a the door closed behind me nothing else mattered. I honestly had no choice but to kneel down in front of Jesus and pour out my heart and the tears were just flowing down my face. When i left that place I was lighter and i was so much more relaxed than before I went in there. If anyone is passing through Abernathy and that Jesus statue please stop and take some time with Jesus. It will change you!
