Wow was this place popular, even at 11:30 on a Wednesday. The food is always good and it is a good family place with a sandbox area for the kids to pass some time away while waiting for their meal. My husband said they have about the best sweet potato fries that he has ever eaten. Of course, the burgers are always fresh and made to your exact order.

Great place for burgers and hand-cut fries. Portions are huge. We shared a green chili cheese and it was very good. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is very noisy and hard to carry on a conversation. I suggest sitting in the back by the windows as it is somewhat easier to hear there. Service is friendly and fast.

Hubby had a cheeseburger and enjoyed it so much that Blue Sky is his number one place for burgers now. Good flavor, well cooked,, fresh toppings, tender buns. The fries were perfectly cooked and pliable, even though thin. I had a minor glitch with my hamburger. Manager JP was responsive and a real peach about resolving the issue. That's one of the best things about Lubbock. Service staff in restaurants and stores are usually friendly and helpful! We appreciated the Covid responsible spacing of tables, use of masks, and blocking off booths. Staff was friendly and diligent about constantly cleaning. We will definitely be back!
