Live Oak Animal Hospital South

Recently established my bearded dragon here with Dr. Chattin. I drive from Odessa all the way to Lubbock for my veterinary needs. It's worth it! It's extremely difficult to find a doctor that is knowledgeable of reptiles and exotics. I driven to this city 4 times already in a short amount of time due to my reptile's coccidia outbreak. Gladly, I got the news today that my reptile is finally coccidia free! Dr. Chattin examined my reptile pet thoroughly and carefully while answering all my questions and concerns, I appreciate it that! Clinic is always clean and staff members are kind and helpful. Thank you!

Both of Live Oak’s locations have treated us so well when we’ve had to bring in one of our animals. Dr. Wolfe was so understanding and very informative throughout the process of our visit. She made sure we were comfortable and understood what was happening with our cat when he wasn’t acting himself. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We definitely won’t be going anywhere else for our vet needs.

Well we arrived to a nice modern facility. The staff was very friendly. Prices were manageable and seemed fair. The Veterinarian was very knowledgeable. Dr.Wolf took the time to explain different paths we may take . She explained possible outcomes. She was very detailed in her explanations. Also she was very happy to answer any questions about all aspects of the visit. We got a clear picture of what to expect from the current situation to our desired point of health. Medication, it's use and proper administration was explained very clearly. This visit was approximately an hour and a half. This was for a new patient visit. So we feel this period was timely and expected. Our cat had a procedure at another facility and was exhibiting concerning signs (not associated with the procedure). Since the previous facility wasn't a full service Vet. Live Oak Animal Hospital South was able to get our Mekal in quickly. We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend them.
