I began taking lessons at Don’t Fret Guitar Studio a few years ago when I first started playing guitar and have progressed further than I could have ever imagined. Chad is an incredible instructor with vast professional knowledge and skill. And the lessons are always fun and motivational! Whether you want to learn or improve your guitar skills, this is the place to come !

  My experience with this studio has been nothing but wonderful and absolutely 12 out of 5 stars.
  
  Chad is so intuitive as to how to instruct me—-I respond to certain ways of coaching and learning guitar. He’s figured out what resonates with me and doesn’t make it seem too daunting, but also challenges me to keep me engaged and wanting to practice every day. BEST instructor ever. Such a professional and easy to communicate with as a teacher. I couldn’t recommend him or his studio more.
  
  I feel blessed to have found him to help me learn this art.

  This is the BEST place to take guitar lessons!:) I’ve been taking with Chad on and off since I was around 14! (I’m 26 now) and he has honestly changed my life! Musically yes, but he has been one of THE most influential people in my life and has inspired me to pursue music as a full time career:)I taught here for a couple years and everyone here is so nice and knowledgeable:) Chad has helped me through any questions or songs I’ve wanted to learn and when I hit a lull and don’t know what to learn next he’s always got something up his sleeve to teach me and connect how music works which I think is one of the best things about this place it’s not JUST music or JUST learning songs or chords, Chad and the other teachers will help you understand how music comes together and why!:) sorry for the longest review ever😂but I just really cannot express enough how much this place has changed my life!:)

  My daughter has been taking guitar lessons here for almost 3 years. Her first guitar teacher moved and now we've been with Mitch for 2 years. We are so impressed with what she has gained musically, but more impressed with how they have invested in her as she has matured. I 100% recommend Don't Fret Guitar Studio.

  My brother and I have both been taking lessons from Chad for about 15 years. Anybody who takes lessons from him will tell you that he is so much more than a guitar teacher. He is a mentor, a friend, he is just an all around awesome person. Musically, he is the most knowledgeable person that I have ever met. With music degrees from Texas Tech University, he has a long background studying a wide range of genres and styles. My lessons with him have evolved over the years from originally just learning the basics of how to physically play the guitar- to nowadays we focus on music theory, composition, recording, and performing. DFGS is a state of the art facility with all the tools you will need to learn how to become a competent musician. I always get so much out of my lessons with Chad and look forward to many more years learning from him!
