I've been buying gear from MotorcycleGear.com for 10 years at least. The first factor for me are their product descriptions. They post original, thorough discussions of product fit and features in clear terms from a rider's point of view, not just regurgitate the manufacturer's marketing spiel.

Second factor: shipping is very fast and free for most orders.

Third factor: returns are easy and return shipping is fair. Buying motorcycle gear without trying it on means there's a risk something won't fit or just doesn't work for me. They've always accepted my return requests instantly, and let me print a prepaid shipping label (the cost is taken out of the refund, but you're buying shipping at their commercial rates) right away.

Finally, they often seem to have closeouts or specials on first quality gear.

I'm constantly recommending MotorcycleGear.com to my riding buddies.
