I've been going to Dr. Laurentz for over fifteen years and can only say one thing about him, "Dr. Laurentz is a consummate professional and a really caring individual." The two other reviews about him seem to be more concerned with venting anger concerning some personal disagreement they had with the physician. As far as his service is concerned, I believe it to be top-notch.”

“Took my son to the Shallowater Clinic for his 9 month well baby visit and waited 2hrs before finally walking out because we hadn't seen Dr. Carreon yet. They are completely clueless when it comes to breastfeeding, the nurse weighed my son wrong, and even filled out the wrong questionnaire before she realized the one she was filling out was for a 9 year old, not a 9 month old. The curtain in the exam room had blood stains all over it, trash was really full, and counter tops looked dirty. Needless to say, we walked out after 2hrs and switched doctors!! ***UPDATE**** JULY 6TH, 2015 Dr. Carreon called me this morning to apologize for the way things were handled. This was my first time ever speaking with him and I must say I see why everyone loves him. Dr. Carreon's apology was very genuine, heart-felt, and from the perspective another parent. Speaking with him changed my whole opinion on his clinic and I look forward to giving them a second chance.”

“My parents lived at Heartland House, my mother for 4 years, my dad for 6 years, until each of them passed away. It is a wonderful place. The staff members are kind, caring, and attentive. They have activities to participate in, holiday parties, Christmas gifts, and more. My mother absolutely loved living here--she had a built in set of friends. My dad was a difficult older man, but the staff treated him with kindness and humor. The people living here are treated with dignity, something that isn't seen too often these days.! Go and see, it's worth the trip.”
