  Driving through Castroville and decided to stop by. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Was a little skeptical at first but it was delicious. The bread comes from Louisiana, which really made the difference. Was nervous that the po'boy would be overly moist with the two different sauce on it but it was perfect. Next time I'm driving through, I'll be stopping by again.

  Recently found this place and have gone 3 times already. The best shrimp po boy I've stumbled upon while living here in San Antonio. So glad I found this place. Generous portions of perfectly battered/fried shrimp, amazing house sauce and delicious bread. Got my picky husband hooked too. Definitely would like to try the alligator next time. I got my po boy without the Lettuce/tomato/mayo but kept the Pickles and added extra house sauce with a side of gravy fries. Next time I'll ask that they use the actual French fries instead of the chips

  Loved it, bread reminds me of some of my favorite spots in Uptown New Orleans. Shrimp and Roast Beef Po Boys, Zapps, and 2 favorites in the hot sauce department. Simple, clean, and great. Will be back many times!

  Amazing Flavor!! The smell wafted on the breeze as we walked up to the quaint building & made our mouths water!!! The staff was friendly and made suggestions when we asked. We ended up getting the two 12 inch, one shrimp and oysters and the roast beef and shrimp. Needless to say we ordered with our stomach and could only eat one section each. The bread on our po’boy was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The shrimp and oysters were our favorite. And you know it’s great food when you can eat the leftovers the next day cold and it still taste amazing!!! Highly recommend!! It did lose a star cause I’m short and the seats were tall and narrow lol
